Download Office ProPlus

Eligible University of Georgia students, faculty and staff have free access to download and install Microsoft 365 software through their online UGAMail account. 

Eligible Students and employees may download and install the latest, full version of Microsoft 365 software on up to ten of their personal devices (computers, tablets or phones) with Windows or Apple operating systems. 

To install Microsoft 365 on desktops, individuals should log in to their web-based UGAMail account (ugamail.uga.edu). You will need ArchPass to complete the log-in process.. 

To install Microsoft 365 on mobile devices, go to the App Store or Google Play to find the applications and enter your UGAMail account information.

Where can I get instructions to download and install Microsoft 365? 

The EITS Help Desk Knowledge Base has a step-by-step instructions for downloading and installing Microsoft 365 via the web-based UGAMail.. 

Instructions are available for Windows and Apple operating systems, along with mobile devices. 

Is this a fully-functioning version of Microsoft 365? Can I use it offline? 

Yes, this is the latest version of Microsoft 365 with complete functionality. You can install Microsoft 365 directly to your device from your UGA Mail account. However, students must connect to the Internet at least once every 30 days to for an automatic check of their license eligibility.

I recently purchased Microsoft Office for my personal use. Can I be reimbursed? 

No. You purchased a consumer product. Microsoft 365 is available through UGA’s existing license with Microsoft.
